What will I be doing?

Operations & HR

  • Assisting with onboarding of new starters (passports, docs, equipment, etc)
  • Assisting HR with audits and other general HR admin including Best Companies communications and Town Hall follow-ups.
  • Oversee all aspects of general office coordination (including building management, booking travel, lunch and refreshments for meetings, booking rooms, working the tech for meetings)
  • Collect and maintain inventory of office equipment and supplies, as well as researching prices to ensure the best deal and organising repairs.
  • Be the office health and safety guru.
  • Liaison with central HR, Marketing and Operations on a daily basis
  • Understanding of our Tech: Bullhorn and Herefish, and an ability to create communications in Herefish (to be checked by central marketing)
  • Aiding in the organisation of trade shows and company events (Xmas, WeThrive, celebratory days, talks, etc)

 

Marketing:

  • Be the in-house, in-office person who is there to capture events and ad-hoc moments on camera. In an ideal world, they would then transform these images/videos into content (that is run past me first).
  • Posting jobs on LinkedIn – using pre-designed templates on Canva, and adding pre-selected text to post jobs regularly on both LinkedIn pages (also using video job posting – see post later today on LinkedIn)
  • Posting content on Tiktok and Instagram – albeit with a redefined strategy – taking content created by central marketing and physically posting it and engaging with users
  • Exploring and identifying content – chatting to the team for ideas, researching competitors, reading news – to feed to central marketing for converting into useful content
  • Aiding in the creation of monthly newsletters, internal communications and surveys
  • Assist with updating the back end of websites and helping to boost SEO
